It’s a heavy-duty fuel filter with a spin on style for easy installation and replacement. Baldwin Filters are engineered for high performance and durability. Part BF988 threads directly onto the fuel filter mount or adapter on the engine’s fuel supply line. As fuel flows from the tank toward the engine, it passes through the filter media inside the canister, where contaminants such as rust, dirt, and other particulates are trapped.
