Our mission is to be the yard truck equipment company of choice in the markets we serve, and we are dedicated to maintaining our position as a leading supplier of Kalmar Ottawa yard trucks and terminal tractor equipment.

OUR AWARD-WINNING LEGACY

Founded in Bensalem, Pa. in 1986, Yard Truck Specialists is the authorized dealer for Kalmar Ottawa terminal tractors and accessories for the state of Pennsylvania and much of the Northeast U.S. For over 20 years, Yard Truck Specialists has been #1 in truck and parts sales for all Kalmar Ottawa dealers. THE H&K EQUIPMENT GROUP

In 2006, Yard Truck Specialists became part of the H&K Equipment Group. Together, the seven companies and 12 locations that comprise the H&K Equipment Group offer a diverse assortment of material handling equipment. From our yard trucks to forklifts that range between 3,500 to 110,000 pounds in lifting capacity, to railcar moving equipment and utility vehicles, to overhead cranes and lifting magnets, to industrial floor sweepers and scrubbers, we provide the machines that power business. OUR FUTURE

In February, 2013, Yard Truck Specialists doubled its sales area to include the western half of Pennsylvania and become the only authorized Kalmar Ottawa dealer for the state. We also represent regions in New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland while continuing to support thousands of customers located around the world.

In 2015, Yard Truck Specialists opened its first remote branch in York, Pa. to serve customers throughout the southern and western portions of its Mid-Atlantic territory. Then, in 2017, Yard Truck Specialists added 21,000 square feet of shop space to its Bensalem location, creating one of the largest and most state-of-the-art service facilities devoted to terminal tractors in the country.
